Quintas is a farm and a tourism destination since 1983.
The name Quintas comes from the portuguese word 'quinta' wich stands for farm.
As the farm is a grouping of several farms (quintas), His owner decided to name his holding quintas.
In October 2017, large fires engulfed spain and portugal.
More than 45 death, forests and farm fields totally burned.
Quintas das Corgas was one of the victims. Houses, engines and equipment,
trees, animals and pets, ... there is almost nothing left.
To deal with this disaster, Quintas das Corgas decided to run a crowd-funding campaign.
